HE Electronics offers a range of services in the design, development, manufacture and test of electronic and electro- mechanical systems and equipment. We have experience in cost effective design and manufacturing techniques, whilst operating to agreed programmes and quality requirements. Our well-equipped workshop can accommodate prototype builds and test as well as production runs.
Comprehensive test can be provided ranging from basic continuity and insulation measurements to full electronic functional trials using proprietary instruments or special purpose test rigs. Environmental test specifications can be prepared and equipment stressed using our environmental chamber or the services of approved test houses where necessary. Semi-automatic test equipment can be designed and installed for burn-in or larger production runs.
We have extensive experience in designing and testing equipment to meet stringent EMC and environmental specifications. HE Electronics is accredited to ISO 9001 for Electronics design. All work can be released with a Certificate of Conformity when required. New products can be provided with a CE mark as part of the development process.
A range of electronic and electrical manufacture can be performed on our premises. This includes PCB assembly, software device programming and system configuration. Advice and assistance from our engineering office is available to clients when building prototypes or introducing new production techniques. We are also able to provide overhaul and modification services and can supply installation kit sets.
HE Electronics can provide chassis, rack, electromechanical assembly and panel wiring services. Custom cable looming and harness assemblies can be designed and produced to demanding supply chain quality requirements.
HE Electronics manufacturing equipment includes an automatic, computer controlled, high speed, solid state UV laser marking system. The equipment meets with SAE AS50881, SAE ARP 5607 and BAC 5152 standards.
UV Laser marking permanently changes the colour of wire insulation by the absorption of UV laser radiation on the surface. There is no change to insulation integrity and the resulting wire is durable and suitable for high quality end markets such as aerospace and defence. The equipment can accommodate variable font sizes, orientation and placement. Graphics and bar codes can also be marked.
